Artist Statement

Her paintings investigate the relationship between place, memory, and perception. She constructs atmospheric environments that exist between lived experience, memory and imagination, exploring how places become embedded within us over time.

She is interested in the ways places persist within us- how memory alters, condenses, and reconstructs the physical world into something emotional and psychological. Through layered fields of color, light, and imagery, she explores place as an embodied experience shaped by time, identity, and personal history.

Rather than documenting specific locations, her work examines the lingering presence of place and the ways it continues to inform how we see, feel, and move through the world. The paintings invite viewers into spaces where memory, atmosphere, and perception converge.
